1. Agreement to Terms

By using this website or engaging Commercial Door Toronto for work, you agree to these terms. The written CAD spec or quote you approve for a specific project forms part of our agreement and takes priority over these general terms where they differ.

2. Services

Commercial installation focus. Repair work and residential installs referred to partner network. Residential, window and garage work is referred through our partner network.

3. Estimates and Specs

Written CAD spec before parts. Site measure $0 first visit. No verbal estimates. Prices on this website are ranges for guidance only. A technician confirms specs and price at your free on-site measure, and the written CAD spec states the scope and price range for your project. Nothing is ordered until you approve the written spec.

4. Deposits and Payment

  • 30% deposit on jobs over $2,500, due at sign-off before materials are ordered
  • NET-15 for approved property management accounts
  • Accepted payment methods: e-Transfer, Cheque, Visa, Mastercard
  • All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD), plus applicable HST

5. Insurance Claims

We direct-bill major commercial property insurance claims when you authorize us to do so. You remain responsible for any deductible and for any amount the insurer does not cover.

6. Scheduling and Site Access

Install dates are confirmed after sign-off, typically 7-14 business days from approval, with fabrication lead times for custom aluminum, rated assemblies and special glazing stated in the spec. You agree to provide safe access to the work area at the scheduled time. Changes to scope after sign-off are documented in writing and may change price and timing.

7. Cancellations

Scheduled site visits and installs can be rescheduled with at least one business day of notice. Once custom or special-order materials are ordered, deposits cover materials that cannot be returned.

8. Warranty

Every installed leaf and hardware set carries a written installation warranty, with terms stated in your closeout documents. Manufacturer warranties apply to doors, frames and hardware in addition to ours. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, impact, vandalism, unauthorized modifications or lack of reasonable maintenance.

9. Emergency Board-Up

Emergency board-up is a temporary measure to secure an opening. It is not a permanent repair. A written install plan and quote for the permanent fix follows within 2 business days.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Commercial Door Toronto is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or our services. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the work giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
