Built Around the Written Spec
Commercial Door Toronto started on GTA jobsites, hanging doors on new builds and swapping worn ones in occupied buildings. The pattern was obvious early: most door problems were not installation problems, they were spec problems. A frame ordered for the wrong wall. A closer that could not mount on a rated door. An exit device on a stile too narrow to hold it.
So we built the business around the spec. Every job starts with a free site measure and ends, two business days later, with a written CAD spec that lists every opening, its hardware, its rating and a price range. Nothing is ordered until the client signs it. That one habit is what property managers, general contractors and owners tell us they value most.
We stay commercial-only. Storefronts, office towers, warehouses, schools, clinics and condo common areas across Toronto and the inner 905. Repair calls and residential work are referred to partners, which keeps our crews focused on Division 8 openings and the codes that come with them.

What Clients Report
"Spec'd 14 operators across our bank retrofit. CAD day 3, install day 18. No callbacks."
"Record bi-parting slider at our medical building entrance. Breakout panels, sensors and threshold were all in the written spec, and the install matched it exactly."
"We had six main entrances across two buildings on our Highway 404 campus with no automatic operators and a growing list of accessibility requests from staff. The crew walked every opening, checked header depth and door weight, and sent a written CAD scope with Dorma and Besam options inside two business days. They flagged two frames that needed reinforcement before the operators went in, which nobody else had caught. Install ran over three weekends so the lobbies stayed open, and every operator was tested before sign-off."
Representative client feedback; renter replaces with verified reviews at lease.
