By the Commercial Door Toronto Install Crew. Commercial installation focus. Repair work and residential installs referred to partner network.
Mississauga splits its commercial stock between the Airport Corporate Centre, one of four Corporate Centres the Official Plan reserves for office use, and the distribution belt running through Meadowvale, Heartland and Malton. Office parks bring us lobby entrances and suite doors; the industrial side brings dock man-doors and push bars.
Meadowvale Business Park alone employs more than 45,000 people, so doors there cycle through full shifts every day. We swap them between shifts and leave no opening unsecured overnight.
Along Hurontario Street, LRT construction between Port Credit and Brampton still affects curb access. We book loading windows with property managers before install day so the crew is not circling the block.
Every job runs the way all our commercial door installation across Toronto and the GTA does: a free site measure, then a written CAD spec with a price range per opening within 2 business days.
Recent installs in the area
What you see: Lobby pairs in older office parks drag on the pivots, close too hard, or have no powered operator at all, and tenants start forwarding complaints from visitors who cannot get through.
Why it happens here: Airport Corporate is one of four Corporate Centres the Official Plan reserves for offices, so the area is built out with multi-tenant buildings still running their original aluminum entrances.
What we do: We spec an AODA door operator retrofit, checking pivots, header and door weight first, then test opening force before handover.
Frame depth, hardware prep or rating gets checked after parts arrive, and the price moves. We measure first and put every opening in a written CAD spec before anything is ordered.
Non-rated hardware on a rated door, push buttons inside the swing, closers set too hard. Each one is a work order with a deadline. Our specs follow NFPA 80, OBC Part 3 and the AODA.
A half-finished swap leaves a building open. Our crews schedule around tenants and shifts and close every opening before they leave site.
A strike that misses the frame prep or an exit device on a stile too narrow to hold it. We list the hardware set per opening, so it fits the first time.
These are the scopes local clients book most often. Every price is a range; a technician confirms specs and price at your free on-site measure.

"Three rusted steel doors at our Meadowvale plant were replaced with galvanized hollow metal units in the existing frames. The crew checked every frame for square before quoting, added new sweeps and thresholds, and scheduled the swaps between shifts. The written warranty covers each leaf, and the winter drafts at our shipping office are finally gone."

"Two 60-minute rated doors installed at our electrical rooms. Labels, gaps and latching were checked and documented before the crew left site."

Airport Corporate Centre and City Centre: mid-rise office buildings with aluminum lobby entrances, rated electrical and stair doors, and suite doors that turn over with each tenant. Lobby doors here often need closers sized for the wind that funnels between buildings.
Meadowvale Business Park, Heartland and Malton: tilt-up and block distribution buildings with insulated hollow metal man-doors at the docks, push bars on exit doors, and frames that take forklift abuse. Galvanized steel and new thresholds are standard on these swaps.
Port Credit and Cooksville: smaller retail strips and mixed-use buildings where storefront doors, glass doors and AODA operators make up most of the work.
Our crews run west on the Gardiner and QEW or across the 401 and 403 into Peel daily. For Airport Corporate Centre and Malton work we route via the 427 and 401; for Meadowvale and Heartland we use the 401 to Mavis or Winston Churchill, and for Port Credit and Cooksville the QEW to Hurontario. Installs in occupied office parks are usually booked early morning or evenings to stay out of peak traffic and out of tenants' way.
Distribution sites are scheduled around shift changes and dock activity. Steel door swaps at Meadowvale plants, for example, are done between shifts so production never stops and no opening is left unsecured overnight.
Building permits and plan review run through the City of Mississauga Building Division, with fire inspections by the city fire service. Rated openings are installed to NFPA 80 and documented with label photos, and public entrances are spec'd to the AODA Design of Public Spaces standards and OBC 3.8 barrier-free rules.
On tenant fit-outs the landlord or GC usually holds the permit. We supply the Division 8 submittal, label records and closeout documents the building department and landlord ask for.
Open, wind-exposed office parks near the airport put heavy load on lobby closers in winter. We size closers and set latch speed for stack pressure so doors latch in January. Dock man-doors take salt and slush, which is why exterior swaps here are galvanized with insulated cores and new sweeps.
Postal codes we cover: L4T, L4V, L4W, L5B, L5N, L5P, L5S, L5T, L5G
Crews reach Malton and the airport parks via Highway 427 and 401, Meadowvale and Heartland via the 401 and 403, and Port Credit via the QEW.
Site measures are booked on business days, usually within the same week. Crews use Highway 427 and 401 for Malton and the airport parks, and the 401 and 403 for Meadowvale, and the written CAD spec follows within 2 business days.
Most openings run $1,500-$12,000 depending on door type, hardware, rating and glazing. Hollow metal man-doors at Heartland and Malton docks sit at the low end; aluminum entrances with operators in City Centre lobbies sit at the top. Your written spec lists a range for every opening.
Yes. Meadowvale Business Park runs full shifts for its 45,000-plus employees, so swaps are booked between shifts. A recent plant job replaced three rusted doors with galvanized hollow metal and no line ever stopped.
Yes. A recent Airport Corporate Centre job installed two 60-minute rated electrical room doors, with labels, gaps and latching documented before the crew left site.
Yes. We check door weight, pivots and header first, then place push buttons on both sides and test opening force before handover, so the entrance is ready for accessibility review.
It can. Curb access along Hurontario between Port Credit and the Brampton border still changes with LRT work, so we confirm a loading window with the property manager before booking the crew.
On most fit-outs the GC or landlord holds the permit with the City of Mississauga Building Division. We supply the Division 8 submittal, label records and closeout documents they ask for.
